HRG's roots go back to 1990 when it was first established as an installation company in Ontario, Canada. Starting with small curtain walls, store fronts, and skylights, HRG later took on larger and more complicated projects which included 20-storey apartment buildings. In 1995 HRG was awarded its first 30-storey tower in Vancouver, BC. After a few years and a number of additional tower-glazing projects, Highrise Glass Ltd. was formally incorporated in British Columbia in 2000.

In 2003, after 8 years of successful installations in British Columbia, HRG Ltd. expanded to the United States and established a subsidiary company in Portland, Oregon. Since that time HRG has successfully completed several major highrise projects in the Portland area.

With almost two decades of professional installation and service expertise, over 35 successfully completed high-rise condominium projects, and the demonstrated ability to meet all contract requirements, Highrise Glass has established itself as a major player in the residential and commercial glazing market of North America.
